Bob and earls is great. I did spill my entire coffee as the waitress took our order. She was still very cool and nice all though I was completely embarrassed 😌. Had a very good homemade style breakfast and the best pancakes ever!

Had an amazing breakfast and wonderful service as we were passing through town. Probably the tastiest bacon and ham steak I've eaten ever. Only complaint are the single use bathrooms. As busy as this place was it was a hassle to wait that long just to pee.

When your lost and drive by a local place and the parking lot is packed that is your sign to stop. The food is homestyle. A family cafe is judged by it's chicken fried steak and this dinner plate satisfied. Wonderful service and atmosphere. Too bad i was too full to try the homemade pie.

Wait staff was friendly, timely and efficient. Food was good and very reasonably priced. I'm only giving it 3 stars because we had to wait 45 minutes from the time we ordered our food to when it arrived. It wasn't just our food, other customers were complaining and asking if there order had been forgotten. We will go back in hopes they have their kitchen issue resolved.

Grilled pork chop very good. Quality, quantity, preparation good. Chili smothered chicken fried steak was AMAZING.BLT sandwich was good.Our toddler loved the Kids’ chicken tenders and all of the veggies.Service was quick, people very friendly.Great option in a small town!

Heidi was a great server! Food was awesome! Green chili sauce was amazing and that's a true compliment coming from a native New Mexican. Also the banter between the locals was fun to be apart of...nice people. Definitely will be back!

Good breakfast food and laid back atmosphere. Tables a little crowded in the front room but definitely has the cafe feel to it.

Wanna know where a good restaurant is in an unfamiliar town? Ask a cop. They told me to come here and I was not disappointed. I had a late lunch here on a Sunday and treated myself to a gigantic bacon cheeseburger and fries, the ultimate comfort food. The staff in this tiny little slice of heaven is wonderful and I hope to visit here again the next time I am in town.

We were in town for a week. This is the only place I went twice. Good home cooking.

We had a delightful breakfast made even more delightful by sharing a table with two friendly and interesting people. You have to be going to Bob & Earl's in order to find it. It's one of those little gems that is tucked away in a corner that only the locals know about and a few tourists who wander from the beaten path like we did this morning.Great food, great, friendly service and great company adds up to five stars for us!

Great lil place to eat breakfast. Pancakes are home made and delicious. Small and wait time was long but love the feel of the place.

Just off I-25 and follow Santa Fe trail signs My husband had charbroiled chicken breast and said it was good also I think their forte is breakfast since 3 pages of the menu lists those options Very reasonably priced Would like to go back for breakfast next time

Very delicious and friendly staff. During COVID, it took a little bit for the food to come out, but it was clean, delectable, and well worth the wait. Plus there's a bathroom!

Great food as always at Bob and Earl's Cafe. The portions are good, the service is quick and courteous. Good old fashioned diner food. Last time I was there I had the small chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and it was so satisfying. As I type this review, I am actually wishing I was there having another one! One thing that is sort of different is that my kids, they get the hot dogs when we're there, but the hotdogs don't come on hotdog buns, they cut them up and serve it on regular sandwich bread. The kids don't seem to mind, we do that at home if we don't have buns but at a restaurant it's not very typical in my experience. Other than that it's grrrrrreat!

Amazing food! Very friendly staff. If you're ever running through Trinidad I definitely recommend you come to this place. I got the Chili Burger which had the option to have red or green chili around the burger and then fries on top. It may sound gross but it really was amazing. It had good flavor and had a little bit of kick. I also got one of their pies which tasted homemade which gave it a really good flavor. Home, even if 1st time. Specials, homemade soup or beans & PIES!!! Room for a group or 1. Not the best in handicap accessible BUT it's more accessible than most of the town. Prices & taste and quality of food is better than the fast food's in town.

Found this wonderful roadside restaurant while traveling through Trinidad. Great food, outstanding service, and wonderful atmosphere. The place you remember from your childhood. Didn't think these places existed anymore. So lucky to have been randomly guided to their door.

Frozen Chicken Fried Steak, not fresh, tiniest miniature chickens that laid tiny mini eggs, gravy was watery. But, great service.

Friendly staff fastest service ever! Small-town family restaurant with great food that feels like it was cooked at home. So if you have not tried it or have tried Bob and Earl's cafe stop in ASAP! My family stopped here after a trip from Pueblo to New Mexico. It’s a blessing to find holes in the walls with tasty food and staff with great customer service. I had the Santa Fe burger with green chile and it was a tasty, fulfilling and succulent treat. I managed to steal a bite of my sons chicken tenders and they were amazing as well. The homemade ranch dressing was an unexpected but welcome surprise. Our waitress was so friendly, warm and made sure to check on us considering that it was busy. It’s already a bonafide rarity to find decent customer service. This place surpassed my expectations. The next time I go visit family again, I’m stopping here again.

I come through town on business every 2 weeks, I usually eat here, the food is great, the waitresses are amazing people. I only gave 4 stars because I got the pie for the first time and it was horrible. I got this chocolate cream pie and it tasted like salt or baking soda....it wasnt good at all.I prefer to eat at places with dessert, but if this is how the pies come out......I'll have to find another place unfortunately

Potentially the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten. The entire staff is fantastic, friendly, and hardworking. I’m glad this was the place I picked when passing through. edit: a lot of people are saying the wait time is long for the food, but even when this place was fairly busy I got my food in a reasonable time. worth the wait!!

OMG...the food is amazing. Breakfast burrito doesnt look great but is simply amazing. Hot turkey sandwich is a complete meal terrific mashed potatoes and the banana creme pie is mouth watering. Staff is super friendly and prices are great. If your in Trinidad and your hungry this is the place to go!!

The Food and Staff where Excellent..you may have to wait in line for a table..but its worth the wait....good luck Finnishing your meal...the Portions are Huge..
